Why are we starting a daily email newsletters?
We have always had an intense connection and love for animals, especially our family pets, who really are family members. After countless suggestions from friends to start a website and newsletter about our crazy home life with pets, we finally decided to go for it. The idea was to start daily newsletters when the kittens arrived, but we had A LOT to learn about launching a website, newsletter, and managing social media accounts. We’re finally there, and we’ve done our best to capture the highlights of the first three weeks in this first newsletter. Everything here is genuine and we aren’t sponsored or paid by anyone. This is all about sharing joy. We are interested in learning what our subscribers are most interested in! We will be adding a request form soon! We hope you enjoy the journey we will be sharing with you. All the best, Rob (Dad), Michelle (Mom), Kai (oldest son), Jasmine (daughter), and Jayden (youngest son).
June 14th. Welcome to the World! Meet Kizmit’s five tiny miracles!
On the morning of June 14, Kizmit gave us the first signs that something exciting was about to happen. She became extra affectionate, sought out constant companionship, and let us know with plenty of sweet vocalizations that the big day was near.
On the morning of June 14, Kizmit gave us the first signs that something exciting was about to happen. She became extra affectionate, sought out constant companionship, and let us know with plenty of sweet vocalizations that the big day was near.
At approximately 7:15 p.m., Kizmit welcomed her first kitten into the world. Over the next couple of hours, she calmly and confidently delivered the rest of her litter, with the fifth and final kitten arriving around 9:00 p.m.
Watching Kizmit become a mother was truly unforgettable. Instinct took over immediately as she lovingly cleaned, nurtured, and cared for each newborn. Within moments, she was producing milk, purring contentedly, and keeping her tiny family close.
It was a beautiful and heartwarming experience—one that reminded us just how amazing animals are. Seeing Kizmit so calm, loving, and devoted to her kittens was a moment our family will cherish forever.
Our YouTube videos can only be viewed by Newsletter Subscribers!
Day 1 to 3: Around-the-Clock Care for Kizmit and Her Kittens
Our family has always believed that pets are family, and when the new litter arrived, we were all in.
During those precious first few nights, Michelle (human mom) and Jasmine (our 18-year-old daughter) took turns sleeping in the nesting room to ensure Kizmit and her newborn kittens had constant care, attention, and support. While Kizmit's natural instincts have been remarkable, we wanted to be nearby in case she or the kittens needed anything at all.
The good news is that Kizmit has been absolutely incredible. From feeding and grooming her kittens to keeping them warm, safe, and close, she has embraced motherhood with confidence and grace. Watching her care for her babies has been both heartwarming and inspiring.
We couldn't be more proud of her. Kizmit is doing everything perfectly, and her five little kittens are thriving under her loving care.
Day 4 to 8: Growing Strong Every Day
The kittens are growing and developing beautifully! It's hard to believe how much they have changed in such a short time. Every day they seem a little bigger, a little stronger, and a little more active than the day before.
Kizmit continues to embrace motherhood wholeheartedly. She is attentive, nurturing, and completely devoted to her five little ones. It's clear that she is thriving in her new role and taking great pride in caring for her family.
When she takes a well-deserved break from kitten duty, Kizmit can often be found proudly strutting through the house as if she knows exactly how amazing she is. And honestly, we couldn't agree more. She has been an exceptional mom, and watching her confidence and happiness grow alongside her kittens has been one of the most heartwarming parts of this journey
The kittens are also reaching one of their first major milestones: their eyes are beginning to open! This is an exciting stage in their development as they start to experience the world in a whole new way. For now, their vision is still quite blurry, and their eyes remain very sensitive to bright light. Over the next week or so, their eyesight will continue to improve as they become more aware of their surroundings.

Days 9 to 15: Tiny Wobbles, Big Milestones
The kittens are becoming more active every day! While they're still spending most of their time snuggled up with Kizmit and each other, we're starting to see them wiggle, scoot, and explore their tiny world. Right now, they mostly use their little front paws to pull themselves closer to Mom or to cuddle up beside a sibling, and it's absolutely adorable to watch.
We're also beginning to see some fascinating fur colors and patterns emerge. As their coats develop, each kitten is becoming more unique, and we can't wait to see how their colors continue to change and grow over the coming weeks. It's like watching tiny works of art slowly reveal themselves.
Another exciting milestone is that the kittens are starting to vocalize! Their tiny squeaks and little mews are becoming more frequent, and every sound melts our hearts. It's incredible how something so small can bring so much joy.
Every day brings a new surprise, and we're loving every moment of watching these little angels grow, explore, and find their voices.
Days 15 to 21 Playtime!
The Furball Five are starting to really move and are showing their first signs of play. It is so cute and funny! The video really says it all, so please enjoy every second! We will be doing the big name and gender reveal tomorrow, so make sure to check out your inbox for the next newsletter! You may see a kitten in the videos who has one eye shut- that is a normal thing to happen but we have been following the Vet’s guidance and we are pleased to say that both eyes are now open!
